Popular education about the relationship between the COVID-19 infection and the dengue virus in Ecuador.

Abstract

This research work reveals elements for the education of the population about the impact that dengue and COVID-19 coinfection has caused in Ecuador through a bibliographic review; therefore, the relationship is established by its nonspecific prodromal condition, and from it, a diagnosis is made where the problem increases, because the COVID-19 infection can lead to false positives in screening tests for Dengue, thus leading to a delay in diagnosis, so the knowledge of the population regarding these issues is necessary, to guarantee rapid assistance to consultations.
