Abstract

The need for training on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on allergic rhinitis is revealed, which is a more prevalent chronic disease, where the response to the allergic process gives an immediate hypersensitivity reaction, which triggers clinical manifestations. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, many questions have been raised about the control and management of chronic diseases, such as allergic rhinitis (AR), making the differential diagnosis between this allergic disease and COVID-19 infection is of vital importance, due to the similarity that exists in the clinical picture. This literature review aims to reveal elements for training on this topic.
