Abstract

This article presents an intervention proposal for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in fifth grade, who show characteristics that could lead to a return to post-confinement classes being especially difficult when they have to adapt to new situations in their routines. educational. The proposal involves didactic and pedagogical activities such as the use of pictograms and visual boards that help them have a rewarding assimilation experience. Children with ASD can anticipate the new situations that will arise when they return to school after the COVID-19 health emergency, managing to recognize each image related to hygienic and biosafety aspects that can provide greater autonomy, integration, and independence to the new educational environment.
