Study on the academic performance of dental students during COVID-19.

Abstract

Education was greatly affected during the COVID-19 pandemic, since classes had to be canceled in person, thus causing them to be delayed, which made the use of electronic devices facilitate the new study modality. The objective of this research is to analyze the weight that COVID-19 had on student performance. For this, a survey was conducted of 205 UNIANDES students, concluding that the virtual modality decreased the quality of both teaching and learning, thus making the academic performance of the students not entirely favorable.
