Abstract
The objective of this article is to search, evaluate and summarize the best scientific evidence available from the bibliographic review from the perspective of public management and sustainable development in the entities of the education sector. The method used was the bibliographic consultation in order to reflect on public management and sustainable development in higher education. It was concluded that there is scientific evidence that the educational system of all countries has prioritized policies for institutions to improve the quality of higher education, demanding their economic growth and sociocultural development, a new paradigm of education to respond to the needs and expectations. the labor sector and society.
