Abstract

This study aims to analyze the context of world wars, which undoubtedly mark the history of struggles, causing social, economic, territorial, and power problems. Armed conflicts ruin the lives of many civilians, violating human rights, which can include genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity. In the context of world wars, it is necessary to point out that the rules are exposed by lawyers and prosecutors of international courts, constituting very well-founded sentences. It is concluded that these assessments are relevant when talking about war, which requires laying the foundations for teaching that provide a better understanding of the subject.
