Abstract

This research work aimed to analyze the role of the speech-language pathologist in the COVID-19 context, as well as being of a non-experimental qualitative type with an exploratory and analytical approach, carried out through a bibliographic review of scientific articles, repositories and site documents. website in the languages of English, Spanish and Portuguese. Regarding the results of the investigation, it is possible to identify the main alterations in which the speech-language pathologist works in the COVID-19 context, which mainly highlight dysphagia and dysphonia; Likewise, the interventions that the speech-language pathologist makes were investigated, and added to this, the practice of teletherapy as an intervention method, highlighting the laudable work of the speech-language pathologist and his role.
