Clinical study to identify Takayasu's disease.
Abstract
The importance of this study is to describe the clinical manifestations of Takayasu's disease through bibliographic reviews in order to know symptoms and provide the scientific community with necessary information about the disease. Takayasu's disease is a rare disease of unknown cause, characterized by inflammation of the blood vessels in different areas of the body, such as vascular, ocular, neurological, pulmonary, cardiovascular, renal, and joint. The research is of a qualitative type carried out with a documentary review of articles. The main results that occur are eye problems and weakening of the pulse. It was possible to describe the main manifestations of the disease, concluding that its complications and symptoms are according to the affected site of the organism.
