Standard of living of the inhabitants of the Municipal Autonomous Decentralized Government of Machala: Analysis of a structural equation model
Abstract
In the present work, confirmatory factor analysis was used to validate the dimensions and indicators used to validate the assumptions of the scales used in a questionnaire to measure the standard of living of the inhabitants of Machala. The objective was to build the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) graph previously defined in the theoretical framework of the research project. The results were positive, because the "Path Diagram of the standard of living variable" was found, with the help of the AMOS software, defining the model used for the measurement instrument of the variable standard of living, complying with the values of goodness of necessary adjustment, leaving the dimensions Housing, Health, Recreational activity and Economic capacity, distributed in 8 items.
