Interpretation of the discipline and regulation against gender violence in Ecuador.

Abstract

A documentary field research was carried out, with a qualitative approach and descriptive scope, using historical-logical, hermeneutical, and analytical-synthetic methods, as well as surveys, interviews, documentary analysis and bibliographic consultation. It is concluded that despite the fact that gender violence and intrafamily violence are related to each other, there are their own characteristics and distinctions between each of them that the population is unaware of, making necessary the intervention of the authorities and the necessary training so that citizens can know which is the competent organization for the defense against abuses and that their rights are respected, and to whom it corresponds can punish this type of violence, and that the rights of the violated people are being violated.
