The guarantee of harmonious coexistence among Ecuadorians thanks to the right of resistance.
Abstract
The right to resistance is enshrined in article 98 of the Constitution of Ecuador, in the chapter where it speaks of the collective organization for democratic participation. Resistance is a right of the human being, which outlines the human being with the power of freedom to a political or legal system, having the obligation to oppose whoever fails to comply with the duty to protect him. The main objective of this study is to analyze the circumstances of the right to resistance, in the context of the rule of law and its impact on the coexistence of citizens. To do this work, the historical-logical method was used, reaching the conclusion that the right to resistance allows guaranteeing and consolidating the country's democratic regime.
