University social responsibility: exploratory approach to higher education institutions in the province of El Oro-Ecuador.

Abstract

Universities play a fundamental role in the scientific and technological development of society and contribute through actions of university social responsibility with the environment; among these, the Technical University of Machala (UTMACH), which has strengthened the training of students in research and social development in various areas of the scientific knowledge. The objective of the research was to analyze social responsibility in higher education institutions in the province of El Oro, for which exploratory research was proposed, with methods and techniques of scientific research.
