Abstract

Crime is constantly evolving, and this is reflected in its effects, since the platforms where insecurity issues are projected are virtual social networks, and in contemporary contexts, these function as media and young people usually use them as media. main to know what happens in their environment, without corroborating the information that is shared by these means, affecting the way of perceiving the crime incidence. This study analyzed the relationship between the use of social networks and the feeling of in/security in university students who are students at the Faculty of Law and Criminology at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León.
