Abstract
The main objective of the study was to know the level of academic procrastination of Higher Secondary Education students in Mexico during the time of the COVID-19 emergency, adding comparisons associated with the age, sex and activity of the participants. The design was non-manipulative (observational), cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational in scope. A sample of 561 students from the National Online Baccalaureate Service was obtained. The Academic Procrastination scale adapted by Domínguez et al. (2014). The results showed low levels of academic procrastination without the existence of significant differences by sex or work activity additional to the study. Regarding age, it stands out that the older the age, the postponement of activities decreases and the processes of academic self-regulation increase.
