Abstract

The "Learn at home" program implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic for primary education required the support of parents. In this study, 3,292 parents and guardians of primary education in Tamaulipas, Mexico participated. With a survey applied in 2021, needs, problems and activities carried out were investigated using a quantitative methodology, descriptive in scope with discriminatory snowball sampling. The results show the inequality of educational opportunities between students of the same educational level as a lack of technology in the homes, lack of knowledge and time of the parents to provide the necessary support to their children and that in a great effort on their part they surpassed to prevent your children from falling behind academically.
