Citizen participation in the municipal participatory budget of Chaclacayo in the Province of Lima.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate citizen participation in the participatory budget in the management of the district municipality of Chaclacayo in the Province of Lima 2019, and it arises because the agents involved in this town point out that citizen participation in this region is deficient. The non-experimental research methodology was used, because only the variables were studied at a theoretical level and the actors were surveyed in their natural context. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that citizen participation in the participatory budget of this region is deficient; This is due to the fact that the municipal management does not get involved, nor does it motivate its workers to engage in public management issues.
