Abstract

The objective of the article is to provide inputs to improve the debate on the need to identify this knowledge gap, which seems to affect the implementation of the digital transformation strategy; This is how, previously, the bibliography of the international context has been reviewed, which has allowed us to compare the development of digital government in Peru with the rest of the countries in our region. Likewise, the regulatory framework in Peru aimed at digital transformation and the existing data on the current gap in digital skills of public servants have been reviewed; However, this baseline does not exist in Peru, and the lack of knowledge about the benefits that technology provides can generate resistance to change from workers.
