The environmental impact caused by mining in the Estero Hondo precinct of La Maná canton - Cotopaxi.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigative work is to identify the environmental impact caused by mining in the province of Cotopaxi-Ecuador, socializing the problem of how to reduce said impact caused by mining exploitation and exploration in the Estero Hondo de la Maná Enclosure. This study was carried out through the research methodology, which helped to understand the central problem, and socialization campaigns were developed among the inhabitants of the sector, seeking to make young people aware, especially about the dangers represented by indiscriminate exploitation and without adequate supervision and technical plan, to contribute to the minimization of risks that this situation can promote.
