Abstract
Incorporating the gender perspective in public policy and in all areas of the state is an unavoidable task, not only to fulfill its functions, but also to build equal work environments without violence. The objective is to analyze the stereotypical beliefs that the staff of the Superior Court of Justice of the state of Yucatan and the Council of the Judiciary of the State Judicial Power have about gender and its relationship with job performance, marriage, and parenting. The methodology is quantitative-descriptive; 457 people participated, 172 men and 285 women. The presence of gender stereotypes is evidenced, and it concludes with a proposal to contribute to the construction of spaces free of violence in said organizations.
