Violence in Female Sex Workers: Systematic Review.

Abstract

The main factors of violence in women sex workers are physical, emotional or sexual violence by the client in the workplace and/or the police; In addition, they suffer violence due to discrimination in health services, lack of access to services, and the denial of receiving medical care by health personnel. The documentary review was carried out with the guidelines of the PRISMA declaration, research articles in English and Spanish were included, and search chains were built. The databases used were EBSCO, PUBMED, WEB OF SCIENCE, SCOPUS, CINAHL and GOOGLE ACADEMICO. It is concluded that there is violence against sex workers that directly affects their physical, emotional, and sexual health.
