Abstract

Study based on the line of generation and application of knowledge, "culture and education in health" with the purpose of elaborating, applying and validating the MIA03-ENFPR001 protocol for preventive nursing care of pressure injuries to patients hospitalized in COVID critical units of the Médica MÍA hospital with the aim of reducing the cases of patients with pressure injuries. It was a non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study, with a non-probabilistic sample at the convenience of the researcher of 30 patients. It is concluded that the validation of the protocol is favorable to apply it to all patients with mechanical ventilation due to SARSCoV-2.
