Abstract

The objective of this investigative work is to find out about the use of microimplants in orthodontic treatments, which help to correct dental malocclusions. The use of microimplants is a practice currently applied and recommended by orthodontists, since they can be easily removed after the procedure. A bibliographical review was carried out where necessary information was obtained on the use of microimplants in orthodontic treatments, concluding that thanks to microimplants a great advance has been developed in terms of orthodontic treatments, since these serve as an anchor for movements. orthodontics, improving aesthetics and leveling the teeth, achieving a good dental occlusion.
