Orthodontic treatments and abnormalities discovered in the review of patients´ radiographs.
Abstract
The present study aims to study the ways to diagnose this type of conditions, through effective complementary examinations. Normally these pathologies are detected by means of X-rays or by means of a more advanced study such as tomographies. It was concluded that panoramic radiographs are one of the most used explorations in dentistry and are characterized by their capacity to evaluate the maxilla, mandible and adjacent structures and facilitate clinical diagnosis, thus helping to detect silent affections in a quick and uncomplicated way.
