Importance of health education in post-COVID-19 patients regarding respiratory sequelae with Physiotherapy.
Abstract
To date, the COVID-19 pandemic has generated a series of therapies with the aim of improving the health conditions of those who suffer from it; however, patients who are discharged from the hospital are still not completely healthy, due to the respiratory sequelae that are probably prevalent in many of the patients. In this sense, it is important to educate this type of patient in health in order to improve the main respiratory sequelae present, since if some therapy is not continued, sitting during the recovery stage can cause peripheral repercussions that end up reducing tolerance to the effort on the part of the patient and worsen their clinical condition, postponing their recovery for a longer time.
