Malignant germ cell tumors of the ovary. Case study in adult patient.
Abstract
Malignant ovarian germ cell tumors grow progressively, since they are made up of a multiple group of highly malignant neoplasms, and their appearance occurs during the first decades of life, affecting adolescents and young adults. The objective of the research was to present a clinical case of ovarian germ cell cancer in the left pelvic area, diagnosis and treatment. The methodology was a descriptive clinical study that uses the technique of observation in the patient, assessed with a BEP scheme, and during the process he presented lung and bone metastases; consequently, it is required that citizens become aware of the case to reduce the percentage of deaths in adolescent and young adult women.
