Low back pain behavior and its relationship with working conditions in the workers of an automotive logistics company in the city of Manta, Ecuador.
Abstract
The objective of the work was to evaluate the behavior of low back pain and its relationship with working conditions in the workers of an automotive logistics company; The methodology was an observational, cross-sectional, analytical field study with a sample of 162 workers who met the randomly selected inclusion and exclusion criteria. Low back pain was identified in 9.3% of the subjects (n= 15) and was associated with mechanical risks (p< 0.05), not using personal protective equipment (p< 0.05), contamination environmental noise (p= 0.001), habitual position of the employee (p= 0.019), uncomfortable postures (p= 0.001) and psychosocial risks (p< 0.05).
