Abstract

The objective of this study is to be able to consider VIPoma within the differential diagnoses of pathologies that cause serious disorders that could put the lives of patients at risk. VIPoma is a tumor dependent on the tail of the pancreas that causes clinical deterioration of the patient, presenting various symptoms, which is why it is known as pancreatic cholera. It is a tumor with a high risk of metastasis with silent development, becoming dangerous. This research was carried out based on updated information from medical-scientific electronic databases. Early diagnosis is very important.
