To standardize the isolation of memory CD4+ T lymphocytes to assess the effect mediated by 1,25(OH)2 Vitamin D3 by analysis of transcriptional factors and cytokine production.
Abstract
The objective of the study is to standardize the isolation of memory CD4+ T lymphocytes to evaluate the effect mediated by 1,25 (OH)2 Vitamin D3. To carry out this investigation, memory T helper lymphocytes were extracted from peripheral blood and activated with anti-CD3/CD28 in the presence or absence of Vitamin D. Changes in the differentiation of memory CD4+ T lymphocytes were determined, analyzing the expression of transcription factors and the production of cytokines by flow cytometry. The results demonstrated the changes that occur on the differentiation of memory CD4+ T lymphocytes in terms of cytokine production profiles. In conclusion, CD4+ T lymphocytes in the presence of Vitamin D modulate various processes.
