Self-efficacy in the education of people with type 2 diabetes.
Abstract
Type 2 diabetes is a public health problem worldwide, it is a condition that affects the physical, psychological, and social state of the person who suffers from it, exposing himself to living in a constant state of uncertainty, due to systemic alterations and emotional that entail not being clear about the evolution of said condition. A descriptive, observational and longitudinal quantitative research was developed with a simple random sampling of 77 people with type 2 diabetes, with the aim of identifying the level of self-efficacy that they present, requiring to deepen aspects such as promotion and prevention through continuing education to people, as this contributes to a better quality of life.
