Enrollees with disabilities: context and factors that influence an inclusion process for students with visual disabilities.
Abstract
This article analyzes the experience of students with visual disabilities within the higher education field, highlighting their attendance in class, the relationship with the student community inside and outside the classroom, strengthening teamwork and the possibility of developing new skills that improve their school performance. The objective was to know through their life history the current situation they are going through in a context where they are a minority. The methodology used was qualitative with a structured interview, giving as a result that the visually impaired student has experienced a change throughout his school career, which has had an impact on many contexts of his personal life.
