Pictographic notebook to improve communication in a student with Moderate Intellectual Disability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research work is to respond to the difficulties and communication needs of a student with Moderate Intellectual Disability, through the creation of a resource such as the pictographic notebook, which aims to serve as support for the subject to maintain constant interaction in different contexts, and thus achieve effective communication in the educational, family and social spheres. The study is based on a qualitative approach with the single case study method, where various techniques were applied with their respective instruments such as document analysis and the document analysis guide, participant observation, and the observation guide, etc., they were compared by means of a triangulation of data.
