Sustainable lifestyles: A systematic review (2013-2022).
Abstract
Sustainable lifestyles are a cluster of diverse behaviors, consumption habits, and identities that meet the current needs of the population with intergenerational equity. The objective is to analyze the studies carried out on sustainable lifestyles through a systematic review. A search was made on the Web of Science using the keywords in English "sustainable lifestyles" where 311 documents were found. The PRISMA protocol was used for the selection and analysis of the articles. Five main study variables were found: food, responsible consumption, transportation and/or mobility, leisure, and housing. Leisure and housing are areas of opportunity to explore and develop from other disciplines and to enrich the field of study of sustainable lifestyles.
