Family functionality, socio-emotional skills and health deterioration in young people associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abstract
The objective of the research is to analyze the variables of family functionality and socio-emotional skills, how they are associated with the deterioration of health derived from the side effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. A sample of 560 students was used, the sampling is stratified by conglomerate, the research is quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive, correlational. The data was processed with the statistical program SPSS, analyzing the Pearson, cluster and linear regression correlations, the results show that adolescents with low family functionality obtained high scores in deterioration of health, mood, stress, intrapersonal skills, compared to adolescents with high family functionality, they develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, adaptability to the environment, and tend to develop better health.
