Coping strategies and overload of medical interns in the management of patients with chronic pathologies.
Abstract
The objective of the study was to determine the relationship between coping strategies and the overload in medical interns of a private university in the management of patients with chronic pathologies. The study was quantitative with a correlational design, whose sample consisted of 207 inmates, to whom two questionnaires were applied, the Brief COPE-28 to assess coping styles and the Zarit Caregiver Overload Scale to measure management overload. of patients with chronic diseases. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship (sig=0.000 < 0.05 and Rho=0.581) between coping strategies and overload in the management of patients with chronic pathologies in medical interns at a private university, 2021.
