The impact of risk management in the area of information technology in SMEs.

Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of risk management in the area of information technology on SMEs in the Tampico - Madero - Altamira area. It is intended to determine if risk management is correlated with a quantitative benefit in the area of information technology of the companies mentioned. The type of study is explanatory correlational, based on field research. The technique used for data collection was through the application of questionnaires, applying a pilot test to validate them; Subsequently, a quantitative analysis was carried out to measure the degrees of correlation and impact of each of the defined variables.
