Social Witnesses and Accountability. Analysis of the experience in the State of Mexico.

Abstract

On the public agenda, the figure of social witnesses seems to lose presence, it is an issue about which little is known and talked about, so the degree of participation and interest of people to get involved is low, coupled with the fact that there is little credibility in Mexican institutions, with which the panorama of the figure of social witnesses is not very encouraging; Therefore, based on this research, it is intended to identify the main deficiencies in the institutional design and provide it through the elaboration of an effective public policy that allows society to participate in an active, organized manner and with the purpose of contributing to improve institutional work from the social sphere.
