Scientific production published by the UTA Mediciencias journal, years 2017 to 2022.

Abstract

Scientific production has been studied, analyzed, and measured through bibliometrics; a discipline based on scientific articles in indexed journals. This work carries out a bibliometric study of the scientific production of the Revista Mediciencias UTA in the period between 2017-2022. The methodology has a quantitative approach supported by theoretical methods, and a set of questions to be answered using electronic tools such as RStudio, VOSviewer, Publish or Perish and Microsoft Excel is used. The relevance of the object of study is evidenced from different indicators that contribute to the improvement of recognition, dissemination, visibility, and impact in the scientific-academic community of Health Sciences.
