Research at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez - a bibliometric analysis
Abstract
This article presents a bibliometric review of the scientific production of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), analyzing 2,332 documents from the Scopus database. The PRISMA methodology was used to identify and refine the documents, and the VOSviewer software for analysis. The results show an exponential increase in scientific production, highlighting engineering and biomedical sciences as main areas. The UACJ collaborates with the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the University of Texas at El Paso. The most prominent journals are Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing, and the Journal of Alloys and Compounds. Authors such as García-Alcaraz, J.L., Álvarez Parrilla, E. and Ochoa A. are the most productive.
