Design of an instrument to evaluate the efficiency of the continuous training system for basic education teachers.
Abstract
An instrument was designed and validated to evaluate the efficiency of the continuous training system for basic education teachers. For its design, different contributions and instruments that address teacher training were reviewed. For its validation, it was submitted to a review by three experts and 7 judges, who evaluated the content validity. The reliability and comprehension was evaluated by means of a pilot group. The instrument was approved by experts; the judges endorsed the content validity of the items. The pilot group expressed a good degree of understanding of items and instructions, and an optimal reliability value was obtained. A valid and reliable instrument is presented to collect the opinion and experiences of teachers participating in continuing education courses.
