Relationship between motivation and learning strategies in university students.

Abstract

Given the implementation of virtual education at all educational levels, there could be a decrease in motivation and learning strategies. The objective was to identify motivation and its relationship with learning strategies in undergraduate nursing students. The results report a relationship between motivation and learning strategies (rs = .691, p =.001), learning strategies per semester were significant in organization (U=593.50; p=.046) and metacognitive self-regulation (U=585.50; p=.039). In conclusion, the results support the need to carry out interventions aimed at students to increase and/or improve learning strategies throughout the university career.
