Public investment in the educational sector and its relationship with educational quality in Peru during the years 2018 – 2021.

Abstract

Educational investment between 2018 and 2021 is the lowest in the entire region; However, the investigations carried out show that since 2016 there has been progress in terms of improving investment and teacher salaries. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between public investment and educational quality in Peru during the years 2018 - 2021. The qualitative methodology was used. Investment in education from 2016 to 2021 has been 3.7% to 4% of GDP, while other countries in the region invest between 4% and 6% of their GDP. Peru is far from having a priority investment policy.
