Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between the meaning of life and various sociodemographic factors in university students with the purpose of demonstrating whether there are statistically significant relationships between an individual's level of meaning in life and various personal, family, and health characteristics, among others. A study was carried out among Higher Education students, using a measurement instrument on which the Crumbaugh and Maholick life purpose test was adapted. It was shown that there is a statistically significant correlation with a low and positive degree of association between the level of sense of life and the sociodemographic factors of eating habits, average hours of sleep per day, perception of family socioeconomic level and work activity.
