Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the results that graduates of the Tourism Management and Development Degree (LGDT) would be able to obtain if they submitted to a certification process, only with the training obtained in the classroom. For this purpose, an exercise was carried out choosing the competence standard EC0042 called: Coordination of Food and Beverage Services, registered in the National Registry of Competence Standards (RENEC) (2023) of the National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies. (KNOW) (2020) and from this, the profile of the Technical Standard for Labor Competence (NTCL) NUTUR00501, which includes only the results of element 2: Supervise customer service during their stay in the establishment.
