Characterization of the metaverse as a tool for educational innovation.
Abstract
The use of virtual platforms such as metaverses and virtual reality favors transformation for quality, stimulating teaching-learning processes and helping to organize and update content, allowing teacher and student to interact within a totally virtual environment. In this context, documentary research of the scientific literature was carried out, through the application of a descriptive study, with the objective of representing alternative forms of educational innovation to understand academic life through the metaverse and virtual reality, in a way that the classroom space be transcended. It was found that educational processes are evolving towards virtual platforms, where they are more effective, less expensive, and totally personalized.
