Towards a mobile application to support the learning of mathematics in fifth and sixth grade of primary education.

Abstract

This article describes a mobile application proposal, whose main theme is mathematics in fifth and sixth grade of primary education. The mobile application presents thematic blocks or levels with different types of activities, such as mathematical puzzles, operations crosswords, mathematical puzzles, column relationship exercises, among others, with the aim of enabling students to put into practice the mathematical knowledge acquired in class. A comparative analysis of some mobile applications that have similar characteristics to the proposed mobile application is also presented.
