Abstract
The objective of this research was to propose a new governance model for Information Technology (IT) at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, based on equity and inclusion. It integrated a non-interactive qualitative approach, through documentary review, and data analytics, with an explanatory-propositive scope. The documents considered for review are related to the state of IT in the university, educational policy, and the current IT governance framework. For data analytics, the usability of technology for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 was considered. The results allowed establishing a new model for IT governance made up of 4 dimensions: government, people, technology, and services.
