Violation of the right to security and personal integrity of the administrative officials of the Bellavista Social Rehabilitation Center No. 1: an analysis of the current situation.

Abstract

The crisis in the Ecuadorian prison system has given rise to a series of factors that have contributed to this situation, for which the servers of the rehabilitation centers have been victims of harassment and insecurity, violating their right to security and personal integrity. The objective of the investigation is to analyze this situation experienced by the administrative servers of the SNAI. To carry out this research, qualitative-quantitative research methods were used with an exploratory and descriptive approach; in addition, the analytical-synthetic method for a deeper analysis. The collection of information was carried out through interviews and surveys. As a result, it was possible to observe that the administrative servers do not have the standards to guarantee their rights.
