Economic policy in Mexico in food matters during the year 2021.
Abstract
This article analyzes the economic policy in Mexico in food matters during the year 2021. The actions and measures implemented by the government to address the challenges and promote sustainable development in the food sector are highlighted. Policies are mentioned to strengthen food security, boost agricultural and livestock production, promote sustainable agriculture, and promote technological innovation. The implementation of support programs and subsidies for producers is noted, as well as actions to promote equitable marketing. Despite the advances, persistent challenges are mentioned. It is concluded that a comprehensive and sustained approach is required to overcome the challenges and guarantee an equitable, resilient, and sustainable food system in Mexico.
