Comparison of compressive strength between bulk-fill resin and composite resins: a bibliographical review.

Abstract

This work seeks to compare the compressive strength of bulk-fill resin compared to composite resins through an exhaustive review of the available scientific literature, through a descriptive investigation in which articles published in the period included between the years 2015 and 2021 from the Pubmed and Google Scholar databases, using keywords such as "bulk-fill resin", "composite resin", "mass-fill resins", "block resin" and their equivalents in English as "composite resin" and "common resins". The results obtained showed that bulk-fill resins have significant efficacy in reducing shrinkage due to polymerization compared to conventional composite resins.
