Relationship between anxiety and depression in Nursing students from Sinaloa, and the Phil Barker Model.
Abstract
Depression and anxiety are also a public health problem that affects the daily activities of the population, manifesting emotional disorders such as sadness, guilt, uselessness, insecurity, fear, worry, negative thoughts, among others, which can trigger decision-making. bad decisions by students or have an impact on their school performance. A quantitative, cross-sectional, prospective and observational research was carried out with a simple random sampling of 277 students from three of the academic units of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, with the objective of identifying the association between depression and anxiety through the application of the instruments: CES-D and Hamilton, in addition to evidencing the relationship with sociodemographic data such as school grade, age and sex.
